STUDENT BENEFITS
__________________________________________________________________________________
Close:
The houses are located close to campuses.
Cost:
Relatively inexpensive compared to Dorm prices or lack thereof.
Community:
Community is Christian in practice in that it offers house Bible studies, a house meal each week, and safe Christian community.
Christian House Director:
Unlike typical student houses, we are offering a live-in House Director that
will care for interpersonal relationships, enforce rules, and maintain
an atmosphere of respect and acceptance in the home.
HOUSE RULES
______________________________________
Dry House:
Our house is free from alcohol and tobacco.
Weekly Meals:
Students living in the house eat one meal as a house together each week.
House Studies:
Students are required to attend and be involved in the House Bible Study.
Gender Appropriate:
Men
and Women do live together in this coed house but do not share private
rooms. There is only one common space that is coed and this is the
first floor common area. Bathrooms, and bedrooms are not shared with
those of the opposite sex. The house is also easily divided into 2-3
segments making it possible to separate non-community spaces.
COSTS

Room Rental:
Students
live in same gender pairs in the house. The rooms in the InterVarsity
House are large; therefore some rooms can fit a third person, but most
students will live in same gender pairs. If a student wants their own
space they will have to pay for two rental spots.
Utilities:
Utilities are in some cases included. This would include heating, natural gas, garbage,
water, wireless internet, & basic cable (in the community space). TBD by house.
Space:
We purchase homes specifically with great community spaces. We target homes that will have great functionability for students.
$400/month - Individual Student/Shared
$800/month - Individual Student/Non-shared
(must sign a 12/month lease)
